About the founder

NR Sports founder is Nic Riosa of New Zealand. He is currently competing in Marathon Kayaking in Europe. For 8 years he represented New Zealand however after taking a year off international racing in 2005 he has come back and now represents Italy when competing internationally. 

He started his sporting career at an early age with "just cycling to school" which followed by the "odd Triathlon" including 5 New Zealand Ironman races. 

He started kayaking at the age of 23 and has been coming to Europe since 1998, raced in his 1st Kayak Marathon World Champs in 2001 and now lives full time in Europe.

Sport is his life and it is only fitting that he is now extending his resume to include offering people quality products at reasonable prices hence NR Sports was born.
